  • Cities of the World, 6th ed., 4 vols, 2002 A compilation of current information on cultural, geographic, and political conditions in 193 countries and their cities covering six continents, based on the Department of State's Post Reports. Maps and photos of many cities included.
  • Countries and Their Cultures, 4 vols, 2001 Focuses on cultures and countries around the world, specifically what is and is not shared culturally by the people who live in a particular country. Entries contain descriptive summaries of the country in question, including demographic, historical, cultural, economic, religious, and political information.
  • Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations, 11th ed., 6 vols, 2004 Presents information on 200 countries and dependencies from around the world. Entries discuss topics in detail, from banking and securities to climate, from government data to demographic statistics. Also includes biographical essays on national leaders
