News
Reminder: CSUDH students who live near any of the other 23 California State University Libraries may borrow books at no cost from these libraries. They will ask to see your CSUDH Identification card.
IMPORTANT: On June 27th, the Library changed the way students log in to access Journal Articles and other electronic resources from off-campus. You now log in with your MyCSUDH Username and Password, just like you do for Blackboard, Student E-mail, and other school web sites. You can learn more about the change by following this link: http://csudhlibrary.blogspot.com/2009/06/log-in-with-your-campus-username.html
Older news:
On July 16th, 2008, all EBSCO databases (including CINAHL, MEDLINE, Academic Search Premier and others) got a facelift! Although the search screens look a little different, most features work the way they always did.
Here's a help sheet to help you get oriented.
Please email me if you have further questions.
Information
How can the Library help you?
The CSUDH Library staff works closely with the College of Health & Human Services to facilitate services to nursing and health sciences students who are distance learners.
Students and faculty: Whenever you can't locate the full text of a journal article online, please e-mail the citation to Carol Dales: cdales@csudh.edu. We will either locate the article online, scan our print copy or request the article from another library and email you the full text!
Did you know? Students officially enrolled in CSUDH courses ALSO have borrowing privileges at the libraries of other CSU campuses. Be sure to take your CSUDH picture ID card to present when you intend to check out books.
