The library occupies two connected buildings in the center of campus, LIB NORTH and LIB SOUTH. The 2nd floor of LIB NORTH contains the entrance to the library, and its 3rd and 4th floors hold books. The libary occupies all 5 floors of LIB SOUTH, though only floors 2-5 are accessible to patrons.

Floor 2 of Library North contains the exit to campus, internet cafe, photocopiers, circulation and reserves desks, faculty development lab, and elevators to other floors.
Floor 3 of Library North holds Call Numbers A-H, Atlases, Folio (oversize) materials, and the Curriculum Materials Collection.
Floor 3 of Library North contains Call Numbers J-PN and houses the Promoting Excellence in Graduate Studies (PEGS) program.
Floor 1 of Library South houses the PICTURE Art Foundation museum.
Floor 2 of Library South cointains the reference desk, interlibary loan office, both library instructional labs, and student computers (mac and PC). It holds the reference collection as well as student theses.
Floor 3 of Library South contains eReserves processing and the laptop loan / group study checkout office. It also contains most of the group study rooms, photocopiers, and student computers, as well as holding current and bound periodicals, indexes, and abstracts.
Floor 4 of library south holds call numbers PQ-Z. This floor is also the silent study floor.
Floor 5 of library south houses the library administration offices and archives. It is also the library's event floor, containing an event room, multicultural art museum, and multicultural reading room
