Computers

The library maintains a number of computers for use by the public. You do not currently have to log in to use one of the public-use computers.

All computers currently have the following software installed:

Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc)
Microsoft Internet Explorer (Web Browser)
Mozilla Firefox (Web Browser)

The computers also use Deep Freeze, special software designed to keep the computers in good condition and to stop the hard drives getting full. Because of the way Deep Freeze works, anything saved onto the computers will be erased overnight. If you need to save something, please bring a USB drive to save onto, or e-mail yourself the file.

If you save a file onto the computer itself, it will not be there the next day.
