A document developed by the Academic Senate of the California State University on March 2003. It is about the "Intellectual Property, Fair Use, and the Unbundling of Ownership Rights for the purpose of Furthering the Mission of Public Higher Education".

The Copyright Office provides basic information on copyright, information on copyright registration, guides to searching the copyright status of works, and texts of selected copyright office circulars and announcements. A connection to LOCIS, an electronic information system which allows searching of U.S. copyrights, is provided. Also available are information about licensing and royalty payments as well as connections to other Internet sites with information about intellectual property rights.

(via LexisNexis) (CSUDH Access Only) The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research (RPOLL) is the comprehensive full-text collection of public opinion in the United States. It covers the full spectrum of publicinterest including politics and government, public institutions, internationalrelations, business, social affairs and consumer behavior and preferences. The file includes actual data from a wide variety of sources in opinion pollingsuch as Gallup, Harris, Roper; ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC; Los Angeles Times, NewYork Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal.
2) Roper Center for Public Opinion Research (iPOLL database, etc.)
(CSUDH Access Only) iPOLL database is an up-to-date source for US nationwide public opinion. The database includes data survey results from academic, commercial and media survey organizations such as Gallup Organization, Harris Interactive, Pew Research Associates, and many more. iPOLL does not include state samples or foreign samples (see Catalog of Holdings). However, surveys of these populations are available from the Roper Center at (860)486-444. Time coverage: from 1935 to present, and updated daily.

(CSUDH Access Only) ICPSR maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction, and offers training in quantitative methods to facilitate effective data use.
4) Field Polls
(Please use computers NOT in the CSUDH Library to access)   (CSUDH Access Only) Search Field (California) Polls, 1979-Latest Release, Questions and Answers.
Your browser must be configured properly in order to access the Field Polls data at UC Berkeley.
   The first requirement is that your browser be set to use passive FTP:
    1. Go to Tools Internet Options and select the Advanced tab.
    2. Scroll down to the “Use Passive FTP (for firewall and DSL modem compatibility)” option and make sure that it is checked.
Access instruction:
    1. Click open the link above.
    2.  Click the "Data" link on the left side of the Data homepage.
    3. Choose "CSU Only/Field Polls" link on the FTP navigation column on the left side of the Data page. You will see a page with the FTP navigation
        column, a center column named "SEARCH UCSD's CALPOLL INDEX" and a "RETRIEVE DATA" column. Depending on how your browser is set
        up, the RETRIEVE DATA column will display a set of folders or an FTP directory listing with links to the folders.
    4. Use the SEARCH column to locate a poll of interest to you by entering the appropriate keywords. When you find a study you'd like to download,
