Volumes with the call number location prefix  INDEX  are housed in this section. Before the
widespread use of computers for indexing periodicals, most publications were indexed in
annual volumes. For subject or author access to periodical articles published prior to the
mid-1980s, consult these volumes. Most of the indexing for articles after the mid-1980s is
available in electronic format and is accessed through the Internet Computers.
