in a specific electronic database, then

| 1. | To
determine where the journal can be found, go to the CSUDH Library web site at: http://library.csudh.edu/ |
| 2. | Click
on the red Find Journals & Electronic Resources button. |
| 3. | Click
the CSUDH Journals List button (3rd button down in row on Left side of
screen) |
| 4. | Click
on I know the title of the journal I want |
| 5. | Type
the name of the journal into the Find box. |
| 6. | If
the Library has full text of that journal, you'll see a page with links to
electronic journal indexes that contain it, and/or a link to locations
of hard copy in the CSUDH Print/Microfilm Collection |

II |
| | 7. | Once
you have connected to an electronic journals database: Search
for your article by entering information from the citation
into the Find boxes of that journal index. |
| | 8. | Use
the author's last name, a distinctive word or phrase from the article title, and
the journal title to check for a specific article. |

you think an article ("Hassles: their importance to nurses' quality of work
life", by Lynda Beaudoin and Linda Edgar, in Nursing Economics, May/Jun 2003.

the first blank rectangular box just below 'Advanced
Search' |
