Any faculty member may request a customized library instruction session by completing the form on the next page and clicking the "Send Instruction Request" button. Please send your request at least two weeks in advance of the date you request. The Instruction Librarian will contact you to confirm the date, time and location, and to discuss the content of the instruction session.

Please note the following before proceeding:

The class session you requested will not be officially scheduled until you receive confirmation from the Instruction Librarian. The confirmation will list the date, time, and location of the instruction session. Please do not inform your class of the instruction session until you have received confirmation.

Orientations typically last for 75 minutes, unless you specify otherwise.

If you would like the students to have a hands-on computer session, contact Ken Leyba at X2815 to reserve a computer lab in Welch Hall.

Be sure to indicate your expected outcome(s) from the session and mention any specific resources you want to be included (if needed).
